Great method for extending & keeping frozen food & dry goods protected using vacuum sealing
Great unit that has worked consistently and with great satisfaction. This is so easy to use, progress lights on top prompt you along with the vacuum & sealing functions progress. The design is clean and simple so that you may clean it easily and thoroughly. The sealer unit stores really conveniently in a larger drawer, a cabinet, Even on the counter, space allowing. That's where mine is-I use it very frequently.
Using mine to break down & vacuum pack, sealing for the freezer the bulk packs of meats & poultry for future use. Also, great for freezing meals made ahead of time. Great for taking advantage of seasonal produce and enjoying even in off season. Like both the vacuum sealing and just seal closed , without removing air mode, for snacks, leftovers, & so much more. The cereal & marshmallow bars I show in my pix, they keep nicely by vacuum sealing. They are freezer ready or ready to gift and not be messy! The best thing so far... had a 1/2 pouch of stuffing and vacuum sealed it, from last November, used it beginning of June, perfect! Money saver, yes, it can be!
A good value for the money as it comes with pouches, ready formed, for you to fill and seal. You can either seal your pouches, the air remains inside , or vacuum seal them. Wanted to add that the rolls of film you cut and custom seal & ready made pouches are readily available. The machine is not silent, it makes noise while functioning in the vacuum seal mode, it's got to be, but wanted to mention.
Totally recommend for self and gift giving. So useful, great to use, and money saver/food saver/freshness keeper. So glad to finally own a vacuum sealer, don't hesitate, if you've had one in mind as I did for the longest time!
